Like many Review, this batch included some with "Canor Burns". Recommend taking out of cellophane wrapping and put in humidor for a couple days.

WARNING I am very upset with myself for spending the money on theses cigars. These cigars taste very bad i rather be forced to eat dung. The cigar would not stay lit . I ended up giving these cigars to a homeless man that asked if i had a cigarette I told I had cigars I dont want and he took them as i was pulling away the man was trying to lite them and he was having a hard time I saw him try to lite 4 cigars try after try to lite the cigar and smoke them. I believe I had mad that homeless man mad because i saw him throw the cigars away. Only reason I would buy these cigars are for pulling pranks on people, Like how people would put loads in the cigarette and they pop or spray like a fart spray heck these cigars smell worst then them stink bombs Lol i would rather smoke the stink bombs then these cigars.

6 or the cigars showed outward signs of tobacco beetles. they were unsmokable. Thompson asked for pictures that i then sent. Threw them out because i didn't want them anywhere near my 5000 count humidor. Then later Thompson said i would need to return them for credit ( i sent you pictures with the receipt on it ,why now are you asking for infected cigars to be returned to your warehouse) . Construction was horrible with caps that were almost falling off. Don't take a chance with these and ruin your good cigars.

I paired this cigar with Cigar Box Wine -Cabernet Sauvignon. I would also smoke it after waking up in the morning with a cup of coffee.

First impression is it is an OK cigar. I rate a cigar on it's smoothness. This cigar will start out as acceptable but there is no smoothness and it becomes harsher as you smoke it down. It will usually not burn evenly and becomes a "coreburner" meaning that the exterior will not burn while the center burns on. This is what makes it harsh. I would advise you select a different economy cigar.

I was searching for an affordable hand rolled cigar that I liked. I fell in love with these sticks. Natural flavor, you can tell that they are hand rolled by construction. Leaf is a good taste, burn time is 90 minutes. If you hot box it 60 minutes you'll never be able to smoke one in less that an hour. The only thing you'll notice is that they don't burn evenly but that can be easily resolved by making sure to let the flame touch the entire head of the cigar then it's not an issue. Thick rich smoke, tight ash. You can set it down for 5 minutes or so and two good puffs will start it back up without relighting. Recommend bullet cutter if you don't like tobacco in your mouth. Over all a surprisingly good natural smoke. Perfect cigar to ad variety to your humidor.

These where listed on sale and the price seemed to good to be true, well it was. I had a hard time keeping them lite and many of them had pockets and voids in them.

The old adage if it seems to good to be true it is. Basically you get what you pay for, almost unsmokable. If I was given these as a gift from someone that knows cigars I would be offended. I rated them 1 star because there wasn't anything lower.

Doesn't stay lit. Burns unevenly. It's more of a chore to smoke rather than a pleasure.

1898 Independencia is a superb cigar, especially for the cost. It is my favorite. The 'Limited Edition" is a darker, bolder cigar, but very enjoyable. It has a noice aroma, smooth draw and no after taste. Don't lose the "regular" 1898.

This is a decent everyday smoke. I looked at them as I was putting them away, and I noticed some imperfections in the wrappers. When I went to smoke the first one after some humidor time, I noticed that the draw was a little inconsistent due to small holes towards the bottom of the wrapper. So far, this incident has not reoccurred, but there is still about 20 to go.
