Initially, I wasn't impressed. However, after smoking a couple, I became more and more impressed. The smoke is relatively smooth. The construction is rather loose but overall, it is a pretty good cigar, especially for the price.

The 829 Torpedo Natural and the Bahia Blu 600 not pleased with both of these. Now I know why you had a sale on these two cigars. Could not taste much, smoke was not good and the draw was almost impossible. Seemed like there was blockage not allowing for a good draw. I cut off parts of both brands looking for blockage. Trying a new light but no difference. Looks like the cigar tobaccos were just folded and rolled with a wrapper that was dried out. Lesson learned, I will stay with the Drew Estates Factory Smokes.

The wrapper unravels about 1/3 the way and is really annoying. Sticks were stored in proper humidor. Taste-wise, I have had better from other cigars that were the same price. There are so many better comparatively priced cigars from Thompson, try something else.

This is a well made cigar that while mild in flavor, still tastes smooth and rich. Can be had for less than a buck per stick, and for a torpedo, this is fantastic! The only drawback is that it is made with short filler, you know, the scraps that fall on the warehouse floor when they make the premium long fillers. Short filler cigars are even sometimes made by machine (like a cigarette) and are much easier to roll than long filler cigars. However the short filler practically guarantees a perfect draw and if you can overlook the annoying little pieces of tobacco that crumble into your mouth, then you will enjoy this cigar very much. I think it's a great buy and when you take it out of the cellophane and show your friends they will think you spent way more for this distinguishing looking cigar. Try them, you will like them, especially at that price!
