Critics raved and connoisseurs gushed over the first father-son produced New World cigar by Ismael and A. J. Fernandez. And who could blame them? Now comes the follow up: the equally amazing New World Connecticut Corona Gorda (5 1/2" x 46) by A. J. Fernandez. Utilizing the same exceptional Nicaraguan Ligeros, Ometepe tobaccos, and Brazilian leaves trussed with a superb San Andres binder, Fernandez deftly caps it off with a smooth-as-silk Connecticut shade wrapper.
Great smoke and unexpected flavors from a cigar with a Connecticut wrapper, I usually go with full body maduros. This one is medium bodied but nuanced and consistent. I don't think I've ever had a bad blend from AJF, he's very talented at his craft.
