A Thompson Cigar exclusive and three years in the making, the Alec Bradley Retreat Robusto Rosado (5" x 50) comes from the same manufacturer that produced the 91-rated Maxx by Alec Bradley from Honduras. Made with a Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper filled with the perfect blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Mexican filler, these bad boys give a relaxing medium to full-bodied smoke that's rich in flavor and smooth as silk. Carefully aged together with a genuine Nicaraguan Viso Habano binder, this cigar goes great with a dark lager or roasted malt stout while playing a twilight round of golf.

Well constructed. Cap takes a V cut without unraveling. Lights and burns well. Easy draw with good chewy smoke. Mildly spicy from start to finish.

Great smoke for your buck! Flavor is on par with cigar 3x as much, with notes of medium roast coffee and cream with a hint of pepper.

How this is rated over 4 is beyond me. It has an inconsistency that I cannot tolerate. Taste swings between charcoal to oak.

Good little cigar when you don't have all night to enjoy - but why wouldn't you allow enough time

Reasonably priced dependable cigar. You know what you're getting from AB. Let them rest in your humidor for a couple of weeks to get a better taste and more consistent burn. Not the best from Bradley but a solid daily driver.

UPS throws my deliveries over my fence when I'm not here, so far my two labrador retrievers haven't eaten them up. US mail is my best delivery.

Each cigar in the box was easy to light and had a consistent, effortless draw with an even burn. Flavor was slightly inconsistent from one cigar to the next, but never harsh nor bland. Overall, a decent cigar for the price.

Very nicely constructed and even burn throughout. This medium-bodied smoke has a fair amount of cracked black pepper spice early on that smooths out to more of a white pepper and/or cinnamon that doesn't overpower. Very short finish with hints of wheat bread crust and fennel. Light puffs don't reveal much but heavier draws held in the mouth uncover the true flavors of this cigar. Good golf/fishing/driving smoke.
