All around great smoke. I was surprised with this one. Alec Bradley makes so many different cigars. Some of them I have had in the past were inconsistent. They didn't draw well, didn't burn even. This one delivers every time, all the way around. So far so good. I will keep ordering them to keep in my Humidor!

As a fan of AB cigars, I decided to purchase a five pack of the Tempus Churchills. As always, I allowed a minimum of two weeks aging in my humidor which is kept in perfect condition. The first Tempus was pulled out this evening and punched with a 7mm punch. The cap and foot cracked immediately. The stick lit well and burned evenly, however the wrapper continued to come apart throughout the burn. The stick lasted about an hour and 15 minutes. The flavor was full as advertised, but fairly one dimensional throughout the first two thirds. Earthy but not in a great way. Definitely not a Prensado or a Lost Art. I am hoping the remaining four are constructed better and have a more complex flavor, or I won't be buying more of these.

Well made cigar; stronger than my usual choices, but quite smooth. Probably my favorite AB

Do yourself a favor and let these sit and season for a few weeks in your humidor. I fired one up on the day I got them and was extremely disappointed - the wrapper cracked, first at the foot, then just below the band, it canoed badly and seemed like the center filler leaf wasn't tight enough. I'll blame that all on the weather - they shipped during an extremely hot weekend, so I'm guessing they dried out a bit on the way up the coast. After three weeks in the humidor? My, oh, my! Solidly medium in body, notes of nuts, spice and a little sweetness hit the palate, and they are extremely consistent from light to nub. Every cigar has a "best" size - I kind of wish I could find them in about a 6x60 for comparison.

This is a good smoke and seems to last long 1.5 hours. I've smoked about 50 of them and will smoke more of them. Occasionally you will get one that's too tight with a tight draw, a quick trip through the poker usually corrects this.

I like balance, not harshness with my strength. I like complexity, not a one note smoke. I tend to smoke after a meal; this cigar will stand up to good Bourbon, Scotch, or Rum. Also like it w/ Buffalo Sweat by Tallgrass Brewing Co.

All 5 cigars I received were horrible. All had uneaven burn in the order of canoes that were 1-2 inches long. One had a hole that formed in the bottom third of the wrapper while I smoked it which forced to me cover it with my fingers. The taste was okay, but these cigars were not worth the money even though I got them in a 5 pack deal.

Bradley nailed it with the tempus! A hard stick to beat. The 1st cigar was too overwhelming to enjoy on a light meal. But after a hardy dinner & a glass of brandy this cigar set the tone for the rest of the evening for me. Bellows of smoke Out of each & every puff from start to finish. Full of flavor is a under statement to describe this master peace. which awakens the pallet on all levels and leaves u wanting more as it maintains a cool even burn while holding a very stiff ash for more than a quarter of the length of the stick!

Considering CA ranked this cigar in the mid 90s, this is a very disappointing cigar! I smoked my 5 pack and all 5 burned very uneven. One cigar busted open when I got about half way. Good flavor, nice presentation, not worth the irritation of heavier than average draw and uneven burn.

Very disappointing Cigar! With 94 and up ratings from CA I figured this would be a great smoke...NOT! All 5 spoon / canoe burned and each time I repaired them they did it again. On one, the wrapper cracked wide open half way through the smoke, unbelievable. Draw was hard for such a loose cigar, flavor is good but not worth the aggravation! Beautiful presentation, what a waste. Clearly CA received very different sticks than I did.

I keep my humidor at 70% humidity, and all my other sticks burn very well and consistently. These cigars are easy to go out, requiring multiple relights. I am not satisfied with these cigars, I cannot wait the usual 30 seconds to take a puff or the cigar goes out. I am a landscaper by trade and these just do not cut it. Nothing like the "burning" taste of consisting relighting.

Bought a 5 pack. Smoked 2 so far & both had a very good flavor, good construction, good ash hang, good billowy smoke. The only issues were that 1 burned a bit unevenly, and the other had a firm draw. I'd still buy another 5 pack, but think I'd try a toro or robusto.

The Tempus series are very good cigars. I've had the shorter sizes with no burn issues whatsoever, so the Churchill might have been too long to get an even burn, as some can be. The smoke is consistently on the fuller side, with a good strong flavor, but not as smooth or as delicious as the Prensado IMHO. If you like a consistent, full flavored cigar without a lot of flavor progression, this would be a good one to try.

Tried it and fell in love with it. A true medium smoke, great draw and very easy on the palate. It simply gets better as it burns. If it were under $7/stick, it would be an even better as a daily smoker versus a once in a while.

First impressions of this cigar are very impressive with a sweet aroma and a rich looking wrapper. The taste was slightly spicy with a really nice draw, burn was flawless. It also had a really nice slow burning that let you just enjoy the cigar and not fighting with relighting or bad burns. Two thumbs up.

A terrible waste of good leaf, time and money. The first one I smoked wouldn't stay lit. I huffed and puffed until I was lightheaded, and after leaving it unattended for about 30 seconds it went out. I was willing to chalk that one up as an imperfection. The next one had the same problem. It immediately tunneled and went out after about 5 minutes. About halfway down the cigar was a hollow point. Luckily I only bought a 5 pack of these, I'll save the other three for occasions when life is going too well, and I just need something to ruin my mood.

Is a great smoke. Me and another friend lit these up playing golf and could hardly take the golf seriously because of the intense smoking experience.

A very close second to the Prensado. Full-bodied, but with a smooth finish for a very enjoyable exhale. This stick has a spectacular even burn comparible to Padron, and Cohiba Siglo VI with near consitancy in flavor and aroma. Grab one of these, a nice single malt Scotch (or your favorite adult beverage), watch the Sun set and your all set!

Purchased for a wedding gift to my husband. He loved them and wedding guests were fighting over who got to smoke the ten I bought. Also purchased the Powerhouse Sampler which was also very popular.
