These Avanti vanilla cigars have just the right amount of flavor without being too sweet or overwhelming , I like the bourbon ones also but these have become my favorites for a small cigar. They're perfect for walking the dog and doing yardwork , they also burn surprisingly long for their size. They last 20-30 minutes , the only negative is that occasionally you'll get a couple rolled to tight and it makes it very hard to draw. It's usually 1 or 2 out of every 10 that happens to , not a big deal and I will continue buying them....

The flavor has changed. Tends to be a little harsh, not like they used to be.

Great short smoke. Or you can take your time cuz they stay lit well. luv the flavor, but not overly sweet. Also luv the annisette. not sure witch one I like best so I keep a few of each with me most times.

I loved these cigars! They were not dry and lit easily. I have tasted the anisette before and don't really care for that flavor but the vanilla is delicious. Everyone I have given one to loved them. Will definitely repurchase.

Lately I've been getting orders of cracked, poorly manufactured cigars , I love this brand it's my favorite, but sometimes I have been not satisfied with this type???

These cigars have a rustic look like seen in spaghetti western movies. All natural domestic tobaco grown and fire cured Ĺ in Kentucky I think. Package says they are infused with vanilla which is why I originally tried them. To me it is not vanilla. It has a unique flavor far better than vanilla. Flavor was catch # 1. Catch #2 is the mildness of the smoke. The tightly rolled and fairly girthy size contributes to a long slow smoke that can take several hours to finish. They will go out and be re-lit quite a few times. Doing this can wreck many cigars that are many times the price of a Avanti. This is catch #3 as it remains an evenly mild after many re-lights. From start to finish these deliver even mild smoke. My only complaint is some are rolled too tight making it very hard to draw and so I throw them out. Not a deal breaker for me. Avantis are in every Thompson order every time. I'm such a creature of habit. So I say take a chance and get you some. Take a walk on the wild side. Enjoy.

Very good smoke

Hard draw, Hard to keep lite, like the vanilla flavor

I'm a huge fan of the Avanti mini cigarillo. Depending on my mood, I'll take the vanilla or the annizette. The annizette has just the right spiciness. The vanilla is very smooth. They stay lit, and last long. I even get compliments on the aroma of both.

Unfortunately, I ordered several boxes of these thing. Have tried three individual cigars so far - one was enjoyable; the other two prompted me to write this review. Hard draw doesn't really describe how these things draw. I inserted a paper clip into the smaller end to improve the draw (also hand massaged the entire cigar to improve draw) - all to no avail. I gave these cigars a "1" rating because that's as low as I could go - would have given it a 1/2 rating. I'm a daily cigar smoker, but probably wouldn't be classified as an 'aficiondo'.
