strong like a maduro - mislabeled??

While the flavor and aroma of these cigars is quite good, the sloppy construction of these cigars causes them to burn very unevenly and the draw is inconsistent. All of that said, I would buy them occasionally for a change of pace.

I think its the best smoke for the price today!

Good mild smoke

Great cigars! One of my go to cigars and handing them out to people is a safe bet they will be enjoyed. Flavor is a great medium body.

Best cigar I have ever smoked that is actually "mild".

This cigar burns well and emits a generally pleasing aroma, but it leaves a bitter taste on the lips and in the mouth.

My first love!

Enjoyed this outside for the first weekend of "winter" aka October with temps in the 30's. Had the fire going and settled back on the patio ready to enjoy this one. I've tried to order it from other online suppliers a few times, but it's always "sold out" but Thompson's had it in singles so I grabbed one. Not usually a Nicaraguan cigar guy (usually a Dominican fan), but this was great for the price point ($6 a single). A true medium and the only relighting issues I had was my fault as I had to walk away for 20mins and when I got back I had to relight it, but only took 20sec.The ash and burn line were great. Mellow flavors for a medium cigar. Burned down to the last inch or so and still very even. Not harsh and not too peppery. Would recommend and will buy again. The description said it goes well with a light lager or pilsner, but i'd argue that it also goes very well with a session IPA of around 6-7%IBV. Enjoy!

I got into cigars about 2 years ago. Unfortunately for me I suffer from fibromyalgia and money is hard to come by. Well, I was able to try some top of the line cigars and fell in love with Gurkha cigars. Unfortunately the line is too expensive for me so I started looking for a good cigar under five bucks a stick. While in a local smoke shop I found a sale for Brickhouse at a very decent price. I bought some and when I got home decided to fire one up. To my surprise this stick compared greatly to a Gurkha. This is my new go to to cigar. I highly recommend this to anyone from newbies to old aficionado's.
