The Dominican-made Buffalo Trace Robusto (5.0” x 49) begins with a mix of barrel aged Dominican Piloto Cubano and Nicaraguan long filler inside a Brazilian Arapiraca binder all wrapped in a dark, oily Ecuadorian Sumatra. This medium to full-bodied blend offers notes of cedar, cashews, and leather along with hints of vanilla and spice. Pour yourself a few fingers of its namesake and enjoy!

Unfortunately I’ve had to let them alone in the humidor for over a month. They arrived so dry. Same as my most recent purchase of five packs, 2 of which were dry. The AVO and the Gurkha Centurion. Terrible getting cigars that havent been properly kept and have to wait a month or more in the humidor to re-season them.

I only buy from Thompson and I have to say I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the cigar because they were not stored properly - the cigars - all of them - fell apart and were very dry. I had to discard the 2 boxes along with the Buffalo Trace cigars. Very disappointing, and expensive, order of cigars.

Sadly, did not meet expectations. Arrived very dry, required constant attention or you got the cold draw of an extinguished smoke. Flavor was unremarkable. Smoked three to be sure it wasn't just a bad stick, holding two in humidor to see if they improve.

I have been waiting to purchase these at my local store for a while now but have been unsuccessful. Finally purchased them online and don’t regret it. The draw is excellent and the burn is even and consistent. Doesn’t have as much of the bourbon flavor as I imagined but still very tasty none the less. Would recommend for even the non-whiskey drinkers.

Great cigar, tastes even better with a bourbon. Draw is a big tough, but that means the cigar has been rolled tight and so the burn is slower and that ash could go for days before it falls off. I’d definitely buy these again.

Cigars with marketing tie ins usually disappoint but the Bufallo Trace, made for the distillery of the same name, overcomes its gimmick status with rich, bold flavors and excellent construction. I enjoyed these cigars as they are above average.

Pretty run-of-the-mill, not worth big money. So that’s one thing the cigar and the actual bourbon have in common. Both are basic, usually gone pretty quick and perfect for a budget buy. Overall it’s ok, but for an overall smoking experience, there’s better that you can slap your logo on.

Good bourbon smoke. Buffalo Trace is my fav bourbon, so I was stoked to see this, although skeptical. I was worried this would be an issue of "stay in your lane," but they've hit a homerun here. Good flavor profile, with a long spicy finish that goes well with bourbon. Will add to rotation for sure. Also, the box is super cool.
