I absolutely love this cigar it is a great smoke. The price is excellent. This cigar is is medium to full bodied smoke that burns evenly all the way to the end. The aroma is outstanding, I am not sure of the exact notes of flavor or aroma, but I love it!!!! Please never run out of this one! I have only 1 left and I am going save it for a special occasion or until my next shipment comes .

Not a bad smoke, but they are dense. Good ash, and the flavor is ok, but I thought it would be better. They apparently smell very "tobacco-ey". I'll finish off the 5-pack and figure out if I want to try them again or not.

These are some great cigars! Even burning, great taste.

They start out with a great earthy nutty flavor but quickly become sour. Bummer because I was excited about these. The construction is great and they burn very well. I just can’t get past the sour flavor.

I really enjoyed the cigar. As soon as I took the cellophane off, the wrapper began to unravel. Very disappointed. I ordered a five pack. I really hope the other four cigars will not unravel.

I really enjoyed these cigars... while I am not a short stick lover these are outstanding on draw, construction and burn. They will give you a very nice 30 to 45 minute smoke and are as smooth as any cigar of have had. CAO cigars are my favorite smoke, they can't be beat!

The 3 I have smoked were of great construction the draw was good however down to the last third they were difficult to keep lit; this may have something to do with altitude in Colorado Springs, or maybe they need to stay in my humidor a while. Flavor was medium to full. I am a fan of all the CAO sticks I have tried. Packaging was nice and tight.

Of all the CAO cigars this is my favorite. Great flavor, interesting wrapper, very enjoyable. Occasionally, I'll get a bit of uneven burn, but a simple touch up brings it back in line. I've never had a bad CAO cigar of any type & have always enjoyed them all. This is a brand that I seek out for purchases.

Great cigar, the draw was even throughout. It burned evenly and did not get hot at the end. The flavor was good with no bitterness. A fair amount of smoke with every draw.

I read some not so good reviews about this cigar before I smoked it. And what I have come to know is "to each his own!" If your looking for a real power house of a cigar, then this is not it! But if you want a medium-full, well....now you found it! I picked this up in a four pack sampler, and I wish I had more. It came on strong in the beginning, and then it mellowed itself out about the second third....but not that much. The flavor of leather is there continuously. This CAO maybe be over looked, but not by me. It will have a place in my humidor for sure, once I get some more!

All I can say is wow. Bought one locally to test out and see if it is worth ordering a box from Thompson. The cigar itself is gorgeous with the thin pinstripe spiraling down, and that oh so patriotic band. Smelled great and had the perfect firmness to it. Easy to cut but lighting was difficult, but I won't count that against this cigar because it very well could have been my lighters fault because it isn't of the greatest quality. The taste of this one is out of this world. I usually prefer cigars with a hint of vanilla or nut, like the CAO Gold, but this one was a light leather or wood taste. This had a beautiful draw and I sucked it down until it was too hot to handle because I didn't want to let it go to waste. I plan on buying a case of these and leaving it out for some of the gentlemen that go to a fireworks show my friends and I put on. Hopefully Thompson puts these on the auction part of the website because the price seems a little high. Overall it is a wonderful cigar, great medium-full strength in my opinion, and a must have for Independence Day. Happy Smoking and God Bless The USA!
