I’m mostly smoke Maduro cigars. Purchasing the Black Bengal was an experiment into CAOs’ lineup. The cigar, for my taste, did not have the richness or smooth after taste when compared to the Brazilia or the American.

These CAO Black Bengals are the best cigar I've tried. Great taste and they burn evenly. Every cigar in the pack was rolled well and smoked consistently. I highly recommend.

Smooth slow burn, with an easy draw. On the mild side in my opinion, but very good.

Enjoy most of the CAO brand. It lasts longer if you don’t light the cedar wrapper. ;-)

Tried these beauties in a sample pack once and they are one of my favorites now. The packaging is impressive with each cigar wrapped in its own protective cedar tube. The draw is medium to easy. The burn has been perfect every time. The flavor is smooth and mild from beginning to end and others have commented on the surprisingly pleasant smell of the smoke.

Overall a great cigar. Had to let them sit in the humidor a bit to hydrate but overall a decent stick for the price. I was told to take the cedar wrap off and use that to light the cigar to enhance the experience. I’ll try that on the next round.

Cao has never disappointed me and the Black Bengal was no exception. Well constructed and a nice even burn, the flavor great. Was sorry I only got a 5 pack, but will definitely buy more. This is an American company who is top tier and their dedication to excellence is manifest in their smokes.

good flavor, put together well. no annoying tobacco coming out the end as should be in an premium cigar. only problem was it didn't stay lit.

When I received the cigars I noticed they were very dry. They were still dry even a couple of weeks in my humidor. The other cigars that I have purchased through Thomson’s were not nearly as dry. The wrapper would come off while smoking them.

First experience was from a seasonal sampler. Second experience was from the frenzy, bought 2 5 packs. Good medium flavor, even burning, easy lighting, good draw. Long filler all the way through. Smoked 2 so far, put the remainder up for a time. I expect to enjoy the remaining 8 as time slowly passes. Long live the frenzy!
