good pairing

This Sampler has me hook, line and sinker! What a great combo. I absolutely love the creamy smoking experience with the Diamond Crowns. A fine cigar! Add in 5 Macanudo Gold Labels! What's not to like? My dilemma is which wine or which whiskey to pour!

I have to say there was nothing to not like. I mean c'mon, the Macanudo Gold Label is one of my favorites, especially when I'm going for a smooth, light Connecticut. What was surprising is my enjoyment of the Diamond Crowns! This was my first go with the brand and think they hold their own in comparison to the Macs! I usually like a Connecticut with a big, bold red wine because their lighter flavor doesn't overly mask the vino, but, interestingly enough, the Diamond Crowns held their own and blended wonderfully with a small batch bourbon I had going. Great combo of two great smokes!

I love Connecticut Shade cigars and the Diamond Crowns are excellent, a little smoother than the Macanudos.

The diamond crown robusto's were exactly what I was hoping for. Smooth, great taste and overall enjoyable smoke, will definitely keep these babies in my humidor at all times.The bug surprise here were the macanudo's! Wasn't expecting such a good cigar. Very smooth, and easy to smoke, if your new or starting out or just looking for a easy great tasting cigar, these guys are it!
