I'm a big Escudo Cubano Fan, normally I smoke Escudo Torpedo Natural Wrappers. It breaks my heart to admit that I'm disappointed by this cigar. The first one I lit was unsmokeable due to the firm draw. The second had a sour after taste. The third was fine, though not as good as the Torpedo. After that about every fifth cigar is too firm on the draw or has the sour after taste. I'm hoping this is just a bad box or the problem is limited to the Toro (which by the way doesn't seem like it's a Toro, seems like an extra long Lonsdale or maybe Corona), as I've never had a bad Escudo Torpedo out of hundreds smoked.

Wow! These cigars are just perfect! Not to harsh, great flavor, and I would compare them to some of Perdomo's line. I was not disappointed at all. I really enjoy them with a good drink or just relaxing with a good smoke. They really are a great buy!

Soft cigar, unevenly packed, stems, unpleasant aroma, bad aftertaste. Smokes in less than 25 min.

This is a very unflavorful cigar and no where near medium bodied. The cigar right out of the box smells of mold and resting in the humidor does nothing for it. The people from Thompson cigar should be more truthful in their description. Would never buy these ever.

In order to get a good draw on this cigar, you have to cut it either on half or just cut and trhough away a third or so. I tried La Vieja Habana before this and I thought I would be getting the same or similar cigar but I was completly wrong.
