With so many cigars being made outside the United States, it was only a matter of time before someone crafted one from good 'ole American tobacco. Thank you, George Rico, son of Guillermo Rico of Gran Habano fame and genius blender himself. You'll thank him too when you put a flame to his G.A.R. American Puro Robusto Habano (4 3/4" x 52), handmade with the finest long fillers from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Kentucky, and a Connecticut binder, expertly rolled inside a rich Habano wrapper. George Rico's Miami S.T.K. line, American Puro, is smooth, smoky, sweet, and unique to the industry. From sea to shining sea, American Puro is a 100% American adventure in taste.
I recceived one of these in my Cigar Tour sampler. The cigar had a scent of earth and sweet tobacco on the pre-light. This baby burned with perfecton the whole way thru. No touch ups or relights required. It started off with a taste of earthiness and a little spice and finished with a smooth creamy leathery taste. Very good cigar that shouldn't be overlooked.
