These cigars are CHEAP compared to most of your cigars,but EXPENSIVE, compared to cigars of my younger days. My only complaint is the burn, most burn very uneven. I'll buy again. gle

This has become one of my favorites due to its candela wrapper, even burn, and smooth, mild taste

In 1976 a salesman was showing me some filing cabinets while smoking one of these. It smelled pretty good to me so I got he name and bought some. They are still the exact same today as they were then. That candela wrapper is special. The long and narrow stick gives plenty of enjoyable smoking time. A leisurely smoke.

We can depend on a delivery every three weeks and they send earlier if we ask. Smokes about 2/3 every day.

As a young man in late 60's early 70's I smoked Garcia y Vega Candela wrapped cigars. They were mild and sweet... priced right... and about the only cigar I ever had that tasted better the longer you smoked it! The anti-smoking craze... family pressures... exorbitant taxes...we drifted apart. Later in spells of nostalgia, I would check out the store cigar displays, but Garcia y Vega Candela wrapped cigars seemed to have went the way of the dodo!! Now in my 70's and retired I stumbled on your advertisement (Thank goodness for the internet) for my old favorite. Few things in your old age are as good as you remembered, but Garcia y Vega Candela wrapped cigars are the rare exception! Many thanks for getting me back together with an old friend.

Reminds me of old fans at Dodger Stadium chomping on their stogies. Non-fermented mild wrappers don't bother your mouth. Grass-like taste and fragrance. Easy smoke, great at the park or garden.

Good cigar with no problems.

Never a bad smoke with these. And although it comes with a punched head I prefer cutting the end off.

I love the old candela wrappers reminiscent of old guys at baseball games. Hard to find as they are not "popular". Very different.

Pricing was very reasonable

I use these on a pretty regular basis, as they are consistently great at an affordable price! However I find one serious design flaw that, seems to me, should be easily fixable. When opening the tab to light the cigar, the tab fails to properly pull around the cigar, and I have to pick at the paper tab to access the cigar. This very regularly fails, and the cigar itself is ripped or damaged, and I have to discard that smoke. I would estimate having to discard the cigar in about 20% of the openings and in many other cases have to pick at the tab very carefully to save the smoke from damage..

I was introduced to these cigars back in 1966 when I worked part time while in college by my boss. I would be sent to pick up his lunch and a cigar. For some reason he like me and would say "get one of these for yourself" I was hooked after that. Back the couldn't afford but never forgot. Still a wonderful cigar!

Every 6 th. or 7 th. one delivers a horrible smoking experience...as if it had been dipped in gasoline or kerosene...I not certain which. After two puffs, i fling it into my bushes.

The flavor is a solid Candela - grassy, smooth, like springtime. Draw is VERY easy, so only the smallest puffs will do. You'll be rewarded with a ton of smoke for a tiny panatela. On the other hand, draw too much and the flavor is bitter and harsh. Treat these green ladies gently.

Wrapper was very dry and came apart while smoking. Also has a very bitter taste.

This was a special offer, so I wanted to try them out ... quick delivery & in good condition ,,,, the only problem is that the cigars were dry & seemed old stock .... humidor didn't help to refresh them. Otherwise they were a nice change from my regular brand.

I would recommend this cigar. It's a nice light smoke for working around the yard or sitting down with a cold beer. Nice flavor and not expensive.

Although ideally designed for a quick short smoke, the bitter and acrid taste of the cigar is such that one stops before the half way point. It's not just the smoke - it's also the wrapper. If others found it a great smoke, then their quality control department must be understaffed.

Not nearly what I was hoping for in a unique cigar. This cigar has a bitter taste, burns fast and hot.

VERY mild with smooth and easy to smoke .

I light one up as soon as I turn on the TV. It lasts for an hour or better so I can lean back and enjoy both.

Good tasting candela for an everyday, short smoke. The cigar is long, but narrow. No clipping needed. Good value, would recommend.
