I like all the Gurkha’s with the beauty being my favorite. They are consistent with flavor and condition every batch I order. Well constructed with easy draw and even burn.

Not very good, when I clipped them they unravelled and burned very uneven. I've been smoking cigars for 45 yrs and these were pretty bad

I have only had the time and opportunity to enjoy just one of cigars in the sampler. I enjoyed the ease of removing the "pigtail" without retrieving my cigar cutter. The cigar flavor was good but i had to relight the cigar several times.

These were a gift for my brother. He was using an old bucket for his butts. Now he has an official ash tray. The hammered copper look reminded both of us of the only ash tray our mother kept in her house. The cigars are Gurkha which are his favorites, how could I go wrong?

The worst sampler I’ve ever tried. Only one good smoke out of pack. Tasted bad and burned uneven. Won’t be buying any girkas again.

Item was not what was shown or described. Thought I was getting a good deal, but wound up with cigars that are still soft from being freshly made, plus I did not get the amount of cigars I ordered.

Ordered what was pictured as a sampler pack of 20- four each of five types of Gurkha cigars. Today, received five cigars in the mail. Really? Sampler was advertised as being valued at $120, selling for about $30. Very ticked off. We're regular Thompson customers, members of the cigar club, and spend a lot of money with Thompson. Now I see the picture has been removed. Are you going to make this right, Thompson? If not, there are other cigar vendors we can take our money to.

Advertised as 4 each of 5 different varieties, received 1 of each variety.

I was caught in the "bait and switch" like many other reviewers pointed out. I ordered the Gurkha toro pig tail sampler that showed 20 total cigars for $19.95. I ordered 3 of these samplers (60 cigars) I received my order and got 3 - 5 packs... 15 cigars. When I called, customer service told me they made a mistake and removed it from the website. I was asked what they want me to do, as they acknowledged the "mistake". I was offered a credit of $20, which is ok, but a horrible display of customer service from someone who has spent $1K+ with Thompson...

This was advertised as a sampler of 5 cigars (4 of each). When my 5 sampler packs arrived I received 5 packs of 5 cigars each.... This is about 75 cigars short!!! I would be ashamed if I were this company!! Total scam! I had problems back in January with this company and stopped buying from them but decided I would give them a try again. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! Do yourself a favor and buy from Cigar International. Never had a problem with them!! They sell as advertised!!

These are just smaller versions of the gordo sampler, minus 3. Well made, have a good flavor with a medium to full strength. find i don't like the pig tail though, gets in the way of my punch and my back covered guillotine cutter. The amount of gum fastening the tail makes the cap a bit brittle on the 2 i've had so far.. The tail is why 3 stars and not five. Down with the pig tail.

Thompson has completely went down the drain. This company used to be reputable, I wouldn't tell my ex or worst enemy to order cigars from this company. TERRIBLE.

Picture in the email showed a 20 pack and they shipped me a 5 pack. Company admitted to having removed the picture because it caused lots of issues. I WILL NEVER order from Thompsons again! Very poor customer service!

Original offer was 20 cigars for 19.99. Almost too good to be true. Apparently it was. Ordered on July 14th received July18th and got 5 cigars not 20. Checked the website and the description was changed to 5 cigars and a new price of $24.95. Obviously the 2 reviews posted days before this had the same happen. I called service and was told they would honor the order and would ship out the other 15. Can't ask for more than that. They knew they had made a mistake and resolved it. Thanks Thompson. I will rate the cigar next week.

You all changed up on me. I was suppose to get the "pigtail" Gurka and that's not what came in the male. What I got is a sample of 5. Once I received my cigars and noticed the bait and switch. I went to your website and see that you removed the picture and left it black. On my order form it even says "pigtail". I expect to get what I ordered. And, if you happen to run out, it will be polite to inform your customer, so that I can make a decision on whether to keep it or change it.

Picture showed 10 cigars in this sampler pack for $19.95. I ordered two, paid $39.90 and received TEN cigars total. Perhaps they made a mistake, as it seems they are in the process of changing the picture, regardless...the proper solution is to honor the deal and send out ten more cigars to customers who bought expecting what was shown. Nope. Not an option. I can return them, which I will, and I can bet that sometime in the next 4-6 weeks, if I'm lucky, I'll get my $40 back. Very disappointing, and I will be very hesitant to purchase from Thompson again in the future.

I ordered the Pig Tail Sampler. I had received an e mail that showed it was 20 cigars for $19.95.When I ordered it(on a Friday) the employee checked to see if it was available. He came back on the phone and said it was. I ordered 3 samplers(60 cigars). I received 3 5 packs in the mail(15 cigars). When I called Thompson to find out why my order was incorrect, I was told by 2 separate people, one being a Supervisor that they knew within a few hours that they had made a mistake. They shipped me the wrong order anyway 2 days later. When I spoke to the Supervisor Max, he offered me $10 off. I am waiting for a return label to return my cigars, supposedly for a full credit including shipping. What would have cost them to honor their mistake? $20-30? I spend hundreds of dollars a year at Thompson. They just lost a customer with their poor business practice.
