After loving Ghost, I saw this Gurkha deal, the flavor notes sounded good, so I grabbed it. They were immediately put into a 70% humidor and the first one was smoked about a week later. About a 1/3 of the way through, it blew up, wrapper cracked and it was a pain to keep lit. I through them into a 69% Boveda bag, it took 6 weeks for them to become smokable. Even still, more than 2 months later, they are an uneven burn and the flavor is as regular and mundane as you can get. This was a lesson learned: don't buy a box based on price and description unless you've tried it before. And any online order should be rested with 2-way humidity control before smoking.
