The cigars were dry when they arrived and the wrapper cracked as soon as I put fire to the cigar.

I am not a fan of the flavor of these cigars. They are more bitter than my favorites. On the bright side, these were provided free by Thompson with a Rockwell torch lighter that works great. Although I will smoke the five free cigars, I am not likely to buy them.

Most excellent smokes! I wish I could afford to smoke these all the time... but i can't, so I have my "daily" smokes and these are my "special" smokes.

Hoyo has never disappointed, and these were not exception. The are a great smoke, with lots of flavor, and pair very well with scotch.

Draw was good and burn on a couple was uneven. Overall the flavor was off and somewhat bitter on a couple.

These smokes are ok. These were listed as smooth to medium but they are mostly medium strength. I don't like a strong strength cigar. The draw is pretty good and the flavor is just regular but they do not leave a bad aftertaste like some cigars do.

I'd smoked Hoyo De Monterrey Excaliburs in the past and enjoyed them, but I guess I'd forgotten how much, because reacquainting myself with this cigar was an all-around joy. Mild, but with a wonderful nutty flavor, easy draw producing lots of smoke, beautifully rolled, and it maintained that square-end ash that appeals to my eye throughout the experience. Perhaps too mild for some smokers, but perfect for my palate.

A well rolled cigar with a good draw, but after trying several of these I must say that they just don't have a pleasing taste. A real disappointment.

The box of Hoya de Monterey’s was super dry the rest were great I have ordered before nicer had an issue

There is nothing wrong with this cigar but there is also nothing to write home about. A good, safe smoke. Unspectacular which is too bad. I had high expectations.
