i purchased this as a suggestion from the girl who took my order. I was 5cents short of the minimum on my order she suggested it as a way to complete the order. I didn't know that was an insert for a zippo. I don't have a zippo and can not use the insert.

It fits perfectly in my old Zippo. It doesn't hold as much butane as my other lighters, but there is a limit to what will fit in a Zippo footprint. I wish the flame was adjustable. However, I can't really complain. It does what it's supposed to do, and was a nice add on to my order.

As expected. Added to plain zippo case and voila... Solid torch.

I have not used it yet. I'm trying to find my dad's old zippo. I like the thought of being able to use something for a different purpose.

Has a fairly small reservoir; so it doesn't last long, and it's more of a bother to refill since it has to be pulled out of the lighter body before filling it. It sometimes takes a few strikes to get it to light, and sometimes goes out prematurely, though I can fire it up again afterward. So it's not as reliable as my other lighters either. If I knew what I know now before I bought it, I would have passed.

Fits very snugly in my zippo case. Works well otherwise and lights cigars much better than the Original Zippo.

I was very happy about this purchase. I was able to renew an old friend. I used to carry my Zippo around everywhere. Got it when I was 13. Using to for cigars left a bad taste though. So it has been sitting for over 10 years since I quit cigarettes. The insert fit perfect. It works every time I strike it. Has a great flame. Great little purchase. I actually got one off of Amazon first and it would rarely light. Then when it did, it would go out after 2 seconds. Worthless. Returned that one and purchased this one.

Highly recommended worked like magic since day one

Bought this to replace the guts in my Zippo because I like a torch but prefer the look and feel of the Zippo. It works great and I have had no issues through a tank and a half of fuel. The reservoir isn't huge but will light and touch up several sticks. I tried it in an off brand lighter as well and the lid would not close all the way.

The insert fits into my Zippo lighter perfectly. It produces the right dual flame for lighting my cigars.

The ZIPPO lighter insert is great... It replaced my old ZIPPO insert and now I have a new lighter. I will be placing another order soon for cigars and another ZIPPO lighter insert for my other lighter. GREAT IDEA... I've been a customer of Thompson for 20 years and have always been satisfied. Awesome product, I love my zippo, but I love even more this lighter, just got rid of the old fashion gas insert and replaced it with this one. Much more comfortable in my pocket than a jetline butane lighter

I loved my antique lighter but archived them until you came up with the new insert. Excellent idea!

I use the product for all my cigars. This product fits perfectly in all zippo cases. It is truly a must have for any cigar smoker. Strong flame and is great! Would reccomend!

This is the second one I've bought...Having lived with it for a few months...I stand by my previous review...

I have always loved my Zippo lighters. But once started smoking fine cigars, the taste from the fuel was very unpleasant. With the new insert, I can once again enjoy using my Zippo lighters.

I know it probably rankles Zippo purists...This is a excellent substitute for the traditional guts for a Zippo... No fluid mess...No Naptha burns on your leg in your pocket should you over fill the critter...Win win all the way around...Fits perfectly in the lighter case too...Great job folks!

Burners burn well. Goes through the propane. One burner is enough.
