Joya De Nicaragua Red Robusto Habano (6" 52) is best known for its powerful Antaño and Antaño Dark Corojo blends, but this time Joya de Nicaragua steps out of its comfort zone and into the medium-bodied world. Comprised of Nicaragua's most fertile long-fillers, regions and delicious, dark, hickory-brown Habano wrapper dropping spicy and peppery notes to it's smooth smoke. It's a classy Nicaraguan puro, chock full of fun and captivating flavors.

When they smoke, they smoke taste as well as a $15 cigar. Out of an entire box more than half had sever construction issues. Tunneling and impossible to draw.

Very impressed by its high quality and pleasant flavor. Got notes of floral and woodiness. The price point is right for everyday's smoke.

Just finished last one from a box I ordered mid-Sept. So this last one was in the humidor 6 weeks, really a tasty cigar. I've decided I need these not to run out anymore, this will be the third box I'm ordering of the Robusto, which is a good size for Winter. Sometimes it's too cold to stay outside to smoke a full churchill. These are perfect. For a mild/medium, lots of taste, great burn, construction, draw: they are all positives. (4 stars, I save 5 ratings for that one cigar that I haven't smoked yet.)

I bought a box of these from a different retailer. I was so excited to try that I lit one up after only being in the humidor for a couple hours, that is usually a recipe for disaster but the cigar burned later straight. Lots of smoke and nice flavors of cream, leather, a little spice and graham cracker. I even got a few puffs that had a delicious coffee flavor but that wasn't there very long. Long finish and no ashtray aftertaste. Beautiful cigar for the price, similar to a zino grand master in flavor but without the milk chocolate and a fraction of the price. I wonder if these will get even better with some rest in the humidor??

I was given a gift pack of five different La Joya de Nicaragua cigars. All were great. Of the five, I decided to buy a box of the Red label, robusto. A nice tight cigar you can hold with your teeth, good draw. Darker, sweeter tones, like maybe coffee or nutty. Very consistent from beginning and down to the nub. I'll come back to another box of these, for sure.
