These are fantastic, especially considering the price, and best for when you are short on time but, want to enjoy a premium cigar. At 3.5" and a 50 ring gauge, you can enjoy of these in 20-30 mins anytime and anywhere. After a big work meeting, while waiting on friends, spouse or kids, etc. This is a go to cigar for me, it is identical to its big brothers (La Galera's Chaveta or El Lector, Maduro's) just in a smaller format so, more portable and sharable with your cigar friends. Many enthusiasts overlook the fact that this tobacco comes from the same island and valleys as Davidoff... but, Jochy Blanco at La Galera has been in the business longer and has more experience through his families Dominican Republic tobacco farming lineage. You can save a lot of money by buying any cigars from La Galera and the best part is they rival Davidoff in taste and quality, no joke, try them for yourself to see what you've been missing. These are very tasty if you like maduro's and they"re "Real" maduros, not dyed, nor colored, nor adulterated, the real thing. *** The cigar in photo is the larger La Galera Chaveta Maduro Robusto, a 5x50, NOT the cigar in this review, the 3.5"x50, same thing, just longer than the shorter cigar in this review. I smoke all three sizes of these, the No.1 maduro-petit robusto (reviewed here), Chaveta maduro-robusto (in pic), and the El Lector maduro-toro, all are fantastic!
