I've smoked Series R, #5s for many years.....and only these. Quality has been maintained. My only negative is they cap comes off really early in the smoke unless I use a wedge cutter. I've tried the Pyramids occasionally but they are rolled too tight and the draw is very hard. Tried many cigars over the last 50 years.....these are top drawer.

After making my purchase I was surprised to discover the change from Maduro wrapper to Sumatra. Tried my first smoke with the Sumatra wrapper yesterday. Not bad, But not quite as good as with the Maduro.

Now has become my favorite smoke. It has a sweet wrapper and a smooth draw. Thompson Cigar has great customer service to go along with it. Will buy more of these!

I am a big fan of sumatra but this particular smoke was only about average compared to the Rocky Patel Sumatra.

Great in every department. My most satisfying smoke.

great smoke, great way to end a long stressful day

This is a very good, not too expensive smoking cigar. Natural is mild. Maduro is a little stronger. The 52 ring is my favorite. Easy draw. Occasionally get one wrapped too tight and draw is a little harder.
