Mild and smooth

VERY NICE

The cigar is flavorful as I would expect from a Macanudo and the price from Thompson was unbeatable. However, a few of the cigars (so far) have not burned well (stayed lit) and it becomes frustrating to not only smoke but enjoy.

The Macanudo Maduro is very smooth and good tasting. The Hyde Park burns an hour and ten minutes for me, and every minute is enjoyable from start to finish. Smells good, tastes good, burns good. This has become my favorite cigar for any occasion.

This has been my go to cigar for over a decade now. Great flavor, consistent burn and just the right size for a good hour smoke with a beverage. Milder than most Maduros, making it an easy introduction to those who aspire more flavor, but who are fearful of anything stronger than mild-rated cigars.

Excellent cigar - the Mac is always good - consistently

This is a great cigar from Macanudo that has a little more flavor than the Cafe line. It is well constructed and burns very even. On a couple, the head has unraveled when I used my punch cutter. It burns for for 1 hour and 5-10 minutes. The maduro wrapper gives it a little bite. I like the PDR 1878 Reserva Dominicana Toro Oscuro a little better, and it is also $1 a stick cheaper when you buy 4 of the 5 packs.

The Macanudo Maduro is my go to cigar. It is relatively mild, burns evenly and is satisfying. I buy larger cigars and stronger cigars but find myself always going back to this cigar. A glass of Port, a cool evening and you have an hour to contemplate your day before retiring.
