The My Father No. 1 Natural Robusto is an impressive, Cigar Aficionado 94 rated cigar packaged in an equally impressive box. The Number 1 was dreamed up by Jaime Garcia to honor his father, Pepin Garcia. The My Father #1 Robusto is an exceptional medium to full-bodied cigar constructed with traditional Cuban methods using specially grown Nicaraguan blends, and a lush Ecuadoran-grown wrapper put together with a Nicaraguan binder. Altogether, this is a cigar experience any connoisseur would recognize as special.

It’s a strong cigar but it grows on you. I normally smoke milder cigars but this one, though strong, is not bitter and doesn’t leave an aftertaste like some strong cigars. Will probably order them again.

When I want to enjoy a good non-flavored cigar, with out being infused with chocolate, coffee, or any other flavor. I go for the My Father No. 1. It's not light nor is it overly strong. There's no frills to it, just a really good cigar! One your own father would be proud to smoke.

"My Father" is one of the more complex creations coming from the Pepin family. It probably fits in with the more medium-bodied cigars that Pepin makes, but it's at the head of the class in terms of finesse. The tannic flavor that marks some young Cubans is the highlight of this smoke. This smoke runs around nine dollars per stick , but for the complexity and quality that you're getting, it's worth it. This might be the best cigar coming out today
