I really enjoyed the flavor of the cigar and would buy it again with one exception. It burns a little quick so I will need a larger and more expensive size. That’s the only drawback.

Great, as always! Long, perfect, ash. Consistent and even draw. Every inch is an enjoyable smoke! Aside from (just as important) the smoking pleasure is the production quality of these cigars. I've never been disappointed

First impression before cut it, smell like chocolate as soon as took it out from the cellophane. Very well build, but nice looking. Cold draw cocoa, coffee, and hint of cognac. I do not feel it's full body smoke, it's pretty mild to me. First 1/3 sweet, woody, very cool draw (cigar won't get hot), easy draw. Very sweet and minty. 2/3, Chololate, coffee to mocha, a bit orange, vanilla, very creamy and smooth. Very nice burn, very good looking ash, Sweetness after taste, no bitter at all. Very strong cigar kick (not the flavor). 3/3, Cedar, a little pepper, mocha to dark coffee, leather. Still sweetness after taste. It's a very sweet cigar!

In 2007, CA rated Opus, Montecristo & Oliva torpedoes as the # 2, 3 & 4 cigars. So why am I only giving it 4 stars? Well, I would have given it 4.5. If you take into account cost, yes the Oliva is a great torpedo - a five star. But while the flavor is right up there (but not quite that close, IMO) with Opus and the Cuban torpedo, the construction of the Oliva can very. I've had some uneven burns, and tight draws that needed lancing or recutting. Still good smoke and flavor, even in those cases. Again, for $6 or $7 (versus $15, 20 or more for top notch torpedoes), its a great deal. If price was no object, then I would put it a (small) step below the Big Boys.

Oliva makes phenomal cigars! This one was at the top. I bought a box and smoked my first one with a friend in his "man cave". We both loved it! Starts out with a bang and finishes with you wanting more.

The Oliva Series V Belicoso is a fine shorter smoking cigar good anytime of day. My latest sticks have had more stems in them than is appropriate for a top rate cigar. This gives an off woody taste to an otherwise medium/full smoke with good spice and no lingering aftertaste. Draw was hard initially but I recut the Belicoso shaped end to even with the cigar body which fixed the problem immediately. Recommended

This cigar is robust, full-bodied, smooth - I simply consider it a deep smoke. It is smooth to the very end - no bitterness at the very end like many cigars, and I do my best to get every last draw out of it. I had one at a special occasion and decided to splurge on myself, and have no regrets. A great value, high-end smoke.

Good consistent full bodied Cigar. Warning this cigar is smooth as full bodied cigars go but has some kick. I do not rate it as high as the Oliva Serie V Figurado or the Prensado Churchill, but it is smaller smoke and is easy to handle while fishing or yard work. I don't think the cigar has quite the flavor or smoothness as the Prensado or the Oliva Figurado. Having said that those two previous mentioned cigars are 1 1/2 hour smokes and what I like to call event or afternoon with nothing to do but watch a game, read a book or bs with friends. This cigar has bite but is not harsh lots of cedar and tobacco flavor. Mild to Medium smokers will probably want to steer clear. It fits my taste though and as such after 5 boxes I still go for it. Good pick for full bodied smokers limited time or doing something active.

This cigar is excellent! It is very well constructed and solid. It has a firm draw (which I like)and a mild aftertaste. This cigar has a nice slow even burn. The Oliva V Belicoso is flawless.

Warning!!! This cigar packs a serious punch, beware. Now that you know this, proceed with caution. I give stars only because the 1 I smoked had an unraveling wrapper. I'm sure this is a one off issue. Nonetheless, I continued to puff away. The flavor & consistency was good. The draw was a little firm, but cool. I put it down for longer than usual (ref. serious punch). With all this I say, keep these in your humidor for those nights you really need to to relax & "getaway"!

The only drawback to the cigar I smoked was that it had a hard draw. But that was only 1 cigar. The tase was the best I've tried to date. Definitely will buy some in the future.

This is a good one folks. Has high rating and delivers. I see other reviewers mention the tight roll but loosening up in the humidor. I found this to be the case as well. All in all a tasty well built cigar that will not disapoint you. Plan on having a nicotine glow when you are finished too.

When i purchased the Oliva V i had great expectations however i must say i was dissapointed with what it gave me. Very, very smooth, however it didn't give me any personnality that would set it apart from all others or give me the bite that I look for in a medium to full strength cigar. this one was just OK in my book.

I got my first box of Olivas via the Series V. I bought it because of the ratings. The ratings are accurate. These are excellent cigars with pleasant wood aromas and a balanced compliment of cashew, malt and cinnamon flavors. Just a hint of spice at the start. Get yourself in a calm place so you can enjoy the full experience this cigar offers. The box I got was a bit tight on the draw when first opened but has opened up after a month in the humidor.

If I were a millionaire who bought cigars in large bulk, the Oliva V Belicoso would have it's own room in my house. I've smoked Fuente, ROcky Patel, Perdomo, Monte Cristo, CAO, Don THomas, and none of them came close to the perfection that is found in Oliva V.

The Olivia seires V belicoso did not dissapoint. This is a well constructed cigar that burns evenly and has a nice finish. The warapper is beautiful, the draw is great, the smoke has hints of chocolate(at least thats what I taste.) Pick a couple up, you wont be disappointed.

Cool smoking, flavorful and smooth - burned a little unevenly at the end. Brings back memories of late night cigars, port and people watching at the El San Juan (PR) Cigar Bar. I'd rate closer to a 90 than a 93, but hey - I'm still learning!
