If you're looking for a premium cigar that will impress, you've found the one. Partagas 1845 Clasico Robusto Sumatra delivers a balanced, medium-body flavor profile by way of a blend handmade of Nicaraguan and Dominican long fillers that are cradled by a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and neatly rolled into a Sumatra-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador.
Love the flavor/smoke profile of this cigar. Smooth with a touch of sweetness that I like. I've ordered several 5-Packs. Out of 15 cigars, I would say more than Half were rolled either too tight or too loose. Draw is either too hard, or too easy and the cigar doesn't stay lit. If it wasn't for the quality of the smoke, I would stop ordering the Partagas 1845 Robusto. I keep hoping I'll get a good batch, but so far I have my doubts about the Quality of construction. I may just keep looking for a comparable cigar with more consistent construction quality. Too Bad. This could be my All Time Favorite.

These seem like an everyday cigar if you like stronger, earthier flavors. The cigars light well and burn evenly; I walked away for 10 minutes and when I came back, the cigar was still burning fine. The smoke is thick and plentiful. The flavor was harsher than expected and definitely peppery and earthy, and I did not notice any change throughout the course of the 45-60 minute smoke. There's nothing wrong with this cigar; if that was my flavor preference, this would be a very enjoyable one. It's not my thing, but I would still say this is a fine, middle-of-the-road cigar.
