PDR Dark Harvest busted on the scene and became one of the brand's most popular lines. So PDR made another iteration. Introducing the PDR Dark Harvest Exclusive Toro Reserve Habano (6" x 52). It contains one of the best filler blends to date: Nicaraguan Ligero Condega, Seco Condega and Pennsylvania broadleaf. Binded with Jalapa leaf, Abe Flores wrapped this beauty in a bold and spicy Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.

Overall good cigar but tends to vary a bit from cigar to cigar. Would recommend trying. Good flavor. A couple of them had a very pleasant taste half way.

Great cigar for the price. Has entered my rotation of everyday smokes. Pairs well with a high rye bourbon.

The darker wrapper along with the full bodied smoke is beyond what I normally partake in but I found this cigar to be enjoyable. For me, this would be a cigar for special occasions not one I would use every day. I recommend this cigar for those who are looking for a high quality full bodied smoke.

Definite mild cigar, consistent burn, pleasant on the tongue. A good "go to" cigar for everyday or special occasion. Flawless wrapper and construction. Satisfying smooth smoke.

Well built stick that didn't unravel from start to finish. Initial taste from my cat's eye cut was spicy like a cross between cedar and cinnamon. Good even draw and not harsh on the back of my tounge or throat. I would smoke this on a daily basis in the summer when out golfing or just relaxing on the patio with a good single malt scotch.

Dont know if my issues were just my cigar I tried judging from everyone elses reviews but im gonna review what i got. Initial light was easy and quick but needed alot of attention throughout the cigar. Couldnt set the stick down or it would go out fast...faster than any cigar I've had. Very uneven and inconsistent burn (see pics). Wrapper by the cap had a lot of issues but nothing to worry about (see pics). Flavors were nice, real spicey at first then mellowed out with a lot of woody flavors throughout the whole cigar. The aromas this stick had were in my opinion it's best attributes. Overall I'd say it's a good beginners cigar for the price. I personally like more complexity with my cigars.

This was a great cigar and I really enjoyed it. It started out having a bit of a bad after taste, but it quickly changed and was a very good smoke. Great for the golf course and never needed to be re-lit.

Not my cup of tea. Flavor inconsistent and difficult draw. Not what I expected from PDR.

Right up front I need to say that I like a mild-to-medium cigar, one that this is not. It is described as a medium-to-full (strong) cigar, and I agree. Do not smoke this cigar after a heavy meal, as I did and got indigestion. On the positive side, it is a well-built cigar that holds up well during the long period that it takes to smoke it. But in the end, it is too strong for my tastes.

Smoked the free sample and was not impressed. It smoked well but to mild for my taste.

This cigar was easy to light and maintained a consistent draw throughout. This wrapper was a bit loose at the beginning near the tip, but after a few minutes it did not distract from the rest of the smoke. The cigar had good flavor but was a bit harsh near the end.

NICE !!! After lighting and getting 1st taste of pepper & spice, this cigar settled into a very nice smoke. The burn was perfect (see pix) and draw and construction better than expected. Not a very complex cigar but a good value and totally enjoyable. Yes...I'd buy this cigar again.

Good tasting smoke. On the more robust side but I normally smoke milder stocks.

Not a bad cigar, not my favorite but for the price it could be a daily smoke, not going to get that special place in my humidor though

Tightly rolled and a very firm draw. Good flavor but a little stronger than I like.

Nice smoke for the price. Fuller flavored, Good morning smoke, with a strong dark coffee (what better way to start the day) or after meal with a Bourbon.

The flavor was a little fuller than I typically smoke. The draw was easy. The burn was a little uneven at times. The flavor was very consistent start to finish. A great cigar for full flavor smokers.

Pepper taste lingers. Mild. Not for me but I can't say that it's a bad smoke.

This cigar is a mild smoke. I kept waiting for a special flavor to come through but it didn't happen. It kept the same mild flavor throughout, pretty boring. The ash did not retain it's shape and had a tendency to open up as a flower would causing ashes to drop of regularly. This would probably be a good cigar for outdoor activities where you don't care where the ash drops.

I really enjoyed how this cigar was put together, the wrapper held no flaws and the cigar burned very nice. This was an exceptional full bodied cigar, the flavor was consistent and smooth. Depending on how you smoke this is an hour or more cigar. Very relaxing.

The pre light inspection of this stick looked great. I liked the way the habano wrapper looked and smelled. I lit it up and at the beginning i could taste some good flavors that would mix well with a rum and coke possibly. Wrapper had no burnin issues and the cigar produced much smoke and flavor. Not something i would smoke every day. but i would recommend keeping some in the humi to enjoy after a long day or pass out at a cook out that others will enjoy

This is a very special Dark Harvest Pinar Del Rio As a cigar novice this was not an overwhelming cigar Great construction, beautiful dark caramel color, massive aromatic smoke Good draw and not dry at all. Steady even burn. Definitely need to take your time to slowly smoke this one to enjoy. Mildly spicy yet smooth and flavorful.

This cigar started with a good bit of pepper and cedar/woody flavor. Half way though the the spice had calmed down and given way to sweet notes. Only had to relight one time, but other than that the draw and burn were good. Overall a very enjoyable smoke and I would recommend it and buy it again.

This was a well crafted cigar. A shallow head, so a little attention is needed so as not to over-cut. The draw is firm, but not difficult. Flavor is bold and was well suited paired with a strong coffee. I think it would also hold up well with a good scotch or whiskey. Definitely tends towards the full-bodied, but it is well balanced. Might be a little much for the first time smoker, but is an enjoyable experience for someone wanting a more noticeable smoke. Take your time with this one, especially on the latter half of the smoke, as the harshness is particularly noticeable as the tobacco gets too hot.

Very solid construction, good aroma and flavor. If you are a cigar chewer, this one can stand up to the abuse. I gave it four stars due to the diameter was not favorable for me and some slight flaking of the outer wrapper about halfway thru the smoke.

I like the habano wrappers better but this Cigar was not exactly to my taste. Don't get me wrong, it's a great smoke. Just not what I prefer to smoke. Pretty smooth smoking but a little strong nearer to the end. I would smoke again but not everyday.
