Abe Flores blended this PDR Dark Harvest Perfecto Connecticut (5" x 60) using Nicaraguan Dark Ligero Condego and Seco Condego with Pennsylvania broadleaf fillers and bound it with an aromatic Jalapa leaf. To top it all off, he used a Connecticut Shade wrapper grown in Ecuador. This smooth-to-medium blend was a big hit straight out the gate, and now we're offering in the popular perfecto size.
I'm a veteran smoker, keep a Cigar log book and am a deep lover of the art of smoking. I've tried just about everything out there. I'm an Ashton, Fuente (they are kind of the same as Fuente makes Ashton) Cohiba guy. I light a light to medium cigar in the morning and sometimes at night. I want a perfect wrapper and a great aged blend with pepper in the nasal out-blow and a semi sweet and earthy complex taste on the wrapper for my lips. I want a light grey ash that stays long. I want medium preferably blue smoke that doesn't overpower and stay in my face. I want complex notes of leather, cedar, and a light chocolate or sweet taste but very light. I want to taste the earth and marvel at the perfection of the maker. This is not a 9 out of 10. It is a 10/10. Every one of them. Right down to the box with cedar fingers cradling each cigar and adding more cedar to the taste and aroma. Fantastic smoke. I'd pay 3x what you pay at Thompson for this great draw, 1 hour smoke with great complexity for a mild cigar. Low nicotine and a big bang of peppery yet mild flavor. My absolute #1 go to cigar!
