I've smoked these for years. Sometimes they have construction problems, cracks, imperfect wrappers, and sometimes holes. Recently the price increased and I expected the quality to increase also. It has not. For a good daily smoke and now an increase in price, there should also be an increase in quality control. Lets do a better job on these Thompson!!

Sometimes the wrapper is damaged and they don't smoke well

A perfect everyday (or more) cigar. Good for after dinner, sitting on the deck or out fishing. A cigar that you can share with an occasional smoker and they will enjoy it.

I was disappointed that I did not get the wood cigar box pictured in the advertisement.

Tobacco and "other" filler. I have to wonder what the other filler is - just so I know what I am smoking. This is simply a no-frills, machine made, cheap everyday cigar. I am not saying it has bad flavor, it was actually surprisingly tasty - it did have a tight draw though, and that is a turn-off. I guess this is one to take up some space in my humidor - and to hand out to those friends who haven't acquired the taste for the finer cigars. No, I would not recommend this to a friend - because I now have 100 of these little cigars and will share them with friends.

I Like the fact that you don't have to use a cigar cutter.
