The Thompson Dominican Friscos Maduro Cigarillo is a sweet, little smoke that boasts a dark, Maduro wrapper. Thompson Dominican Friscos hit the spot when you could go for a Maduro experience but don’t have the time to enjoy a Corona or other average sized cigar. The cigarillo provides the solution to when you are limited on time but presented with occasions that call for a good cigar. This small Thompson cigar uses short filler quality Dominican tobacco that makes for a satisfying combination when wrapped in that dark Maduro leaf. Very good Dominican smoke. Couple of side points, like all small cigars you need to smoke these slowly for best flavor. Number two I did and up punching all of these for better flow. back to the first point, the boys at deer camp that smoke too fast noted bitter tones at about the halfway mark.

Good quick smoke my favorite cigarillo. They are on the sweet side but not too sweet like you'd get from a flavored cigar. I am about 10 deep some can be a little hard to draw but nothing unsmokable and for the most part consistent. I would recommend these and will purchasing them again.

I paid for this because I figured it would be a better shot than paying more down the street. Big disappointment. The Frisco's are hard as a rock. Don't draw right and have a Swisher sweet taste which is unacceptable to me. I paid for 50 and got 47 in the box. Some were loose and upside down which means they weren't even packed right. Total let down. 70 dollar let down makes it even worse. Avoid this at all costs.

They're usually consistently manufactured, however, occasionally I'll receive a box that has a very different flavor and aroma that is not very pleasing. For the most part they're a great smoke. These cigars have a wonderful flavor and aroma. However, they are machine made and wrapped very tight which makes for a very hard draw. I thought it was going to be impossible to find a small cigar with a Maduro wrapper that fit my tastes until I ordered these. My normal long smoke is the Cohiba Extra Vigoroso, and while these don't match up, they certainly have some of the same qualities and are very satisfying for a short smoke.

I have been smoking Friscos for about 20 years. For the most part they are a consistent smoke, however, sometimes the particular orders have an unordinary flavor and smell. I found that these little smokes were hard to smoke. Some had pieces of stems that should not have been there. Some of the stems were an inch long and 1/8 inch to 3/16 inch thick. One of these smokes even had the ash split in two.

My hectic schedule unfortunately doesn't allow an hour to sit down with a good regular sized ciger. The size is small enough to finish in a reasonable amount of time. But more importantly, the flavor is full and aromatic. I am not an aficiando but I haven't found a down side to these. Could be slightly larger perhaps.

I smoked the regular Frisco for many years, typical of a smoke this size it can have draw issues. A quick trip through a drawpoker takes care of that. This is a tasty little smoke, bit of chocolate flavor on the tip-great as a first smoke in the am.

There needs to be tighter quality control in their process. Some smokes are great, some are a hard draw, some have holes in the wrapper! One never knows, I've throwen out hundreds over the year's! Why do I buy them..........cheap!

I light one up after dinner sitting down in my chair at night watching tv.This cigar has a great smell to it right out of the wrapper.It has a nutty mild flavor and long lasting for its length.Theres not many things wrong with this cigar,the only thing i can think of is the mouth end of the cigar unravils but i mop the end of it to.Fantastic cigar I recemend it!

This is an end of day smoke for me. I love the flavor. The construction is inconsistent in that sometimes it is rolled to tight to draw well. Sometimes only half of the cigar is rolled tight and the rest is nice and I wind up cutting off the tight part. The wrappers have a tendency to come off too.
