dry, some with tobacco flaking off like it had a pest, greatly disappointed for the price, I don't smoke anymore just have them in my mouth

Half of the cigars have a grainy sandy taste that makes me feel like there was dirt in the leaves. Flavor is also flat. Not anything as good as the naturals that I have had in the past. wish I had not purchased them.

Very surprised and happy with this purchase. Thought I was getting the Connecticut wrapper, as I am usually Leary of Madurai being to strong for me, but they are very smooth. Only complaint is that most of them don’t draw easily, without punching.

I so wanted to like these. But instead all i get are serious and fatal wrapper imperfection issues. I've thrown away more than I've smoked. As soon as you put your mouth on the end cap, it comes off. The "whole" that is intended to draw air through doesn't work very well at all, if you punch it the end cap definitely comes off, if you're lucky that's it. If you're unlucky it unravels. There are huge stems in 90% of the wrappers with huge gaps or voids beneath or around them to allow air in. I don't taste anything to do with vanilla either. Absolute garbage cigars. I've smoked many other vanilla cigar brands and I've never had so many consistent wrapper issues as these. And they cost about 20$ more a box! I'll never buy these again.

I'm not sure if I'm expecting too much for this price range, but the wrappers on these are absolutely horrid. Stems on the outside skin of the cigar seem to be a huge and consistent problem. If you dare pull off a barely hanging stem it renders the cigar unsmokable. I had to go through 3 cigars to get one that didn't feel like it had a 1" hole in the wrapper due to stems on the wrapper not sealing properly. Also the end cap piece (that goes in your mouth) comes off within 5 minutes of smoking. I have had a few good ones but way too many bad out of this box. Although they're really good when they're good I won't buy these again. Too many imperfections and there are other cigars in this price range with better QC.

Really enjoyable smoke. I'm normally a Cuban delights vanilla corona smoker but since they're not available anywhere and are constantly backordered I'm looking for alternatives and found these. I thought they'd be smaller than the CD's and they're about the same ring gauge and a bit longer so that's a plus. Aside from some wrapper defects so far i like them. I think I'll try another wrappper in this line next time.

I like to smoke this cigar while sipping on Gin or Vodka or Wild turkey or...you get the picture.

This is cigar is great every day stick. It smokes much better and produces a much better taste than several expensive cigars I have smoked over the years. This may be my new go to cigar.

can't tell it a vanilla cigar

I smoke them everyday, can't afford the more expensive brands so I look to get the most for my money. These here struck a home run with me, aroma, taste, quality, it was all there. Thank you Thompson for a great cigar!!

Was very excited to try my first "flavored" cigar that was not machine made. Lit it up and after a few minutes wondered if I had been shipped the wrong cigars. There was no hint of vanilla flavor and no hint of a vanilla smell. I expected that the quality of the cigar would not be as good as some of the others I have purchased so no complaints there. In fact they do stay lit and smoke fairly well, but the main feature of the flavor is all but non existant.
