Thompson Nicaragua blends the fantastic flavors of quality tobacco with an affordably low price. While these cigars might not come from Cuba, they show many of the same premium aspects as cigars from that fabled island. The mellow to medium-bodied blend produces a mix of rich Cubanesque flavors through the use of premium Nicaraguan short-fillers bound by an Indonesian binder and finished in a delicious, Habano wrapper. These handcrafted cigars deliver a complex yet balanced smoking experience at a price point under $2 per stick that makes them the perfect addition to your regular rotation.

Good cigars, well constructed appearance wise. Some issues with draw and burn. But most are decent, with a nice mild flavor.

Great construction, a little tight on the draw, burns well, smooth flavor, bought the Toro size, will be buying again. Have already told some friends about this one!

The Thompson Toro is a very good cigar and a great value for the price. I paid circa $1.40 per cigar — on Sale! But even at a higher price I would buy that cigar.

Only half of them are smoke-able. Some are rolled too tight (unable to draw), and all of them are dry. The flavor is decent, a little lighter than I’m accustomed to.

I tried 3. All were plugged. Terrible construction. Also arrived dried out.

I has issues attempting to place an on line order, and out of frustration, I decided to give it one more try via the call center. The woman at the call center was very helpful in taking my order, and correcting the problem that I was having with the on line system. I received my order in a reasonable time, and am very satisfied with the cigars that I purchased.

Grabbed this box on sale and zero regrets. Its a wonderful dog walker smoke. It tastes good, burns good, and has good smoke. If you use anything other then a punch expect a little to unwrap while your smoking but oh well. Life is good with this smoke.

The new Thompson Nicaraguans are very tasty cigars. I would compare them taste wise with some high-quality Nicaraguans from well-known producers. Unfortunately, many of the cigars are not tightly rolled and tend to fall apart before I can smoke the whole thing. For the cost, I probably shouldn't complain, but I would be willing to pay a little more for a better constructed cigar.
