Nice pool this more assortment is is fabulous. The draws are nice. Nice tight. Roll the whole together real fine but the flavor leaves something to be desired. It’s not repulsive but it’s not as smooth as it is. Flavorful is the sum of the other Cigars.

I occasionally try something new and cheap. Sometimes it's a good thing sometimes not. I found no winners in this bunch. weak flavor, lopsided burn. the draw was ok but I didn't think it smelled or tasted like a real cigar. Bleh! I do get cigars I truly love from Thompsons. Occasionally my budget gets the better of me. The perdomo 20th anniversary Sticks are excellent but a little pricey.

To many with an uneven burn. Some packed very tight, hard to draw, others so loose they start to collapse while in hand. Split wrappers. Very disappointed. Maybe they will be good for starting a campfire than sitting around one to enjoy a good smoke with a glass of Bourbon. Purchased this powerhouse bundle some 6 years ago and didn't buy for a long time because of these same issues. It appears they have not made any progress in addressing them.

Unlike their Fumas the 55 Series has a firm well constructed feel in the hand. The appearance is very nice and they have an excellent draw with a nice slow burn. My favorite of these is the 55 Maduro. However, all of the 55 series are excellent smokes. This bundle is worth a try.

I have tried all 4 of the 55's in this sampler, and they are ok cigars. Not much flavor, decent quality, and an easy enough smoke. They aren't hard to keep lit, and last nearly an hour. I may not repeat this order, but I have no regrets with this purchase. I appreciate the value of Thompson's samplers, and will continue to try others.

Like any other cheap cigar nowadays, ya can't keep the stupid thing lit. If you puff enough that it stays lit, it gets hot and the flavor tastes off. So, I light it (again), take a puff or two, wait until I'm ready to take another puff and relight it. Other than that, if you puff enough to keep it lit, it typically burns sideways, even though it was well lit all the way around to start with. As far as taste, let's just say, not bad, not the best. But, what do you expect from a cheap cigar?

WHAT A JOKE I ordered this WEEKS AGO........... Thompson sent me the wrong cigars.. Then they provided a shipping label for me to return right away I 'm a senior and had to get a person to drive me to to UPS place to return these cigars. I called AGAIN they said my Correct cigars were shipped to me and sent Express ? Today about 2 weeks later NOTHING.......... I called this past monday, and tuesday and today wednesday. As a bundle, this assortment was no treat. They are hard to keep lit and burn so unevenly that I got more hot air than smoke on every draw. Even that took some work, as I had to punch them three or four times with a draw enhancer before lighting them. The wrappers keep coming loose as well. I could use Chapstick for these things because the taste wasn't that great anyway. Good for a nicotine fit in a pinch, but otherwise, pass this one up.

Hands down one of the worst cigars I've ever lit. Filler crumbles into your mouth upon cut and the wrapper is brittle and flakes from the smoke almost immediately (could be how it's shipped and maintained, but was not overly dried out). There's no depth to the tasting notes and the evolution of the flavors and aroma start dirty and heavy and exit with a bulky and generic taste of buring not smoking. Campfires are far superior and the look of disgust of friends who started one spoke to the same sentiment. I threw them out and will never recommend or gift.

I’m sure they would have been very good but I gave it one star because I never received the order. It was stolen while being transferred between UPS and USPS. That’s where the tracking information ceased. The practice of transferring between two carriers opens the door to potential theft. Avoid this method of shipping.

The Victor Sinclair - Serie 55, (VS-S55) bundle with all four of its variations (Sun Grown, Habano, Corojo & Connecticut) was a great buy to try them out and a deal. They all have subtle flavors nuances in their own rights an even burn and, comfortable pull. These sticks also grow the reasonably tight ash tooth that is evidence of carefull craftsmanship. These sticks are suitable for an everyday or casual smoke, for no special occasion. They're pretty good after dinner and such.

Received the '55 powerhouse sampler and decided to try the Connecticut white label first. Nice even burn, good flavor, mellow smoke...however, the draw was horrific. Nothing worse than a cigar that almost gives you a headache from trying to get a good draw. I ended up tossing it after about half way...way too much work to be enjoyable. I am hoping it was just this one stick and it's not a total loss.
